Join us for our St Patrick’s Day parade! We accept Floats, Walking Groups, Jeeps, and Golf Carts. Proof of insurance is required for participation.
All floats participating in the parade are required to have safety chains… NO EXCEPTIONS!! Drivers/float pullers shall not drink any alcoholic beverages before or during the parade and will be checked before and subject to be checked during the parade by the Waveland Police Department using an alcohol portable breath test. In order to cut down on litter along the parade route. Law enforcement personnel will be stationed along the route, Should they observe any trash (boxed, bags, etc.) being thrown from any float, they will record the float number and the person who registered the float will be held responsible and cited for littering. ALL “FLOATS” MUST HAVE INSURANCE AS WELL AS THE VEHICLE THAT IS PULLING SUCH FLOAT. WITHOUT PROOF OF INSURANCE FLOAT WILL NOT ROLL AND REFUNDS WILL NOT BE ISSUED.
